WILD Oklahoma
Processing, developing and bringing to fruition new ideas for the blog has been relatively slow. With everything else in the world happening, design for a little old blog like this usually hits the back burner with a vengeance. However, there are some exciting things in the works, some things that we know you'll like. Here is a sampling:
Politics: Yes, there will be dialog about politics such as some of the wildest campaign videos and commercials that show the lunacy of the political world. Also, we have a collection of videos from previous campaigns have our crack volunteers going through them and putting together a list of promises made, contrasted with promises fulfilled. We are also planning to review campaigns that are not even in the fledgling stages yet, but are in the rumor stages...like how many Republicans it will take to topple one Democratic Oklahoma County official. Also, we'll even review some of the wild statements of the uber-conservative government-haters and make fun of them as they run for higher (or different) political office, just to increase their pensions. Big fun here, kids.
Local Bands: There are a bunch of them out there and often, the only place to turn is the Oklahoma Gazette. You'll learn that they haven't cornered the entertainment market and wild-assed local bands will be hanging with the WILD Oklahoma crew to boast of their latest endeavors.
People of OKC: You've heard of "People of Walmart," well, you're going to love our "People of OKC" segment. It's fun and frivolity unlike anything you've seen - and you get to make fun of your neighbors.
Events: Yep. There are a bunch of them, and the wild ones will make the cut here.
Suffice it to say, it's been a long time coming, but when we're finally completed with the web build of this beast, it's ON.
